All the interest I normally have for reading evaporates during the school year when we’re forced to digest an innumerable catalog of required reading. They’re not all bad. But there’s just something about being required to do it that zaps all the joy. So that leaves the summer to tackle the pile of books that accumulate during the school year.
Next on my list:
- Wuthering Heights : Emily Bronte
- A People’s History of the United States : Howard Zinn
- When You Are Engulfed in Flames : David Sedaris
