Okay, you’re an atheist, we get it. We know you don’t believe in organized religion but that in no way shape or form elevates you onto a higher plane than those that do. People of certain religions are not representative of everything that religion stands for. Case in point: While the Catholic church does not condone the use of contraceptives, 90% of Catholics do use it.
So you sticking up your nose at Catholics doesn’t make you any better or smarter (so you like to think). In fact, it only highlights how ignorant and intolerant you are.
As much as I find myself promoting the liberal agenda, it still pisses me off when these so called “liberal elites” come in with their haughty, condescending attitudes. *Get over yourselves.
And I am by no means excusing myself. I am the first to admit that I may come off as a bit snooty sometimes but I recognize the fact that people turn to religion for all different kinds of reasons. Reasons that I have no right to judge. So while you may think it hilarious to poke fun, doing so only places you on the same level as those religious zealots who are out there trying to take birth control away from women.
